This wine has classic Merlot characters of ripe cherries and plums with bright crimson hues. It features fine soft tannins with juicy sweet fruit flavours. Minimal oak treatment has enhanced the delicate varietal characters. Delicious now and given good conditions will suit short term cellaring. Serve with Swiss brown mushrooms, grilled haloumi, eggplant and dried tomato, wrapped in proscuitto with truffle and parsnip mash.
